It
is our intention to spoil you with choice, not only what
to eat but the options as to where to eat; Kilcooly`s
Bar, Restaurant, Resident` s Bar or the Hotel Garden (weather
permitting) ; the choice is yours.
Kilcooly`s
Country House is home to multi award & gold medal
winning Head Chef Colm O Halloran. Colm brings his own
inimitable style to the freshly caught local Wild Salmon,
as well as Lobster & Scallops, to name but a few
. He will happily give you the recipe for his walnut
& black treacle brown bread but you`ll have no such
luck with his grandmother`s chunky Seafood Chowder.
Kilcooly's
also hold the franchise in Ballybunion Golf Club's Restaurants
and Bar. Please feel free to contact us directly if
you wish to reserve dinner in the Club House.
Before
you even contemplate the wine list why not enjoy a whiskey
from the worldwide selection. The Scotches are good
but the home fires burn even brighter. We have Irish
whiskeys that are oaked, smoked, peated, 8 years old,
10, 12, 18 & 24. Blended, Single Malt & Pot
Stilled.
We
don't get quite so excited about our Champagnes, Cognacs
& Armagnacs. We`ve got Dom Perignon from numerous
vintages, VSOPs, XOs and more besides.
Should
it take your fancy you can choose a cigar from our collection,
including hand made Cubans, carefully stored in our
own Humidor.
